We chose 100% cotton canvas for the Melrose and Market Canvas Twill Utility Jacket because it combines durability with breathability. The twill weave creates a smooth diagonal texture that resists wrinkles and holds its shape through daily wear.
The midweight construction — heavier than chambray, lighter than denim — makes this jacket ideal for layering. Cotton canvas softens naturally over time, developing a lived-in character while maintaining structural integrity. Machine wash cold and tumble dry low to preserve the fabric’s finish.
